SUMMARY
John is delighted to have his second exhibition this year in Greece by invite of the 2nd Bienalle of Contemporary Art, Thessaloniki on 20 May to 10 June. The show is entitled "PRAXIS: ART IN TIMES OF UNCERTAINTY", and will be held in the State Museum of Contemporary Art.
In March he had a succesfull exhibition at the unique Shunt Lounge, London in collaboration with The Beatabet Group. His previous show in Greece was held in January at "The Cultural Center of Athens" for the duration of January and received excellent press coverage.
He explores methods of immersion and interaction in his artworks.
By using advanced survelliance technologies he develops
new models of observation and cooperation, opening a platform for creative
collaboration involving both humans and machines. His installation work
often explores a complex language to describe our present situation
and the posthuman future. John uses sensors, cameras and microphones connected to specially developed software
that will visualize, analyze and get involved in human
interactions and exchange of concepts.
